Our Curriculum
In Geography we aim to develop the students’ awareness of the world they live in, to nurture an understanding and appreciation for the changes that are occurring, and their role in protecting the environment now and in the future.
We cover both Human and Physical Geography through our topic based approach. Topics include:
- Where we live – Suffolk and UK perspective
- Food from around the World
- Weather
- Climate change
- Coasts
- In-depth study of Japan
Across these topics students will develop a wide range of literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. In addition, students will gain an understanding of different religions and cultures so encouraging acceptance of difference.
